Climate Change and Agriculture in Africa

The project aims to improve national and regional assessments of the economic impact of climate change on the agricultural sector of eleven African countries, and to determine the economic value of various adaptation options. The project, which will build upon work of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in other regions, will develop a generic analytical tool for the following countries: Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Niger, Senegal, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
